UNIONTECH GALAXY is a coordinate measuring machine studies to combine the performances of a laboratory machine with the interactivity of a workshop machine. Originally came from Europe, the common feature of all GALAXY models is the structure: completely manufactured from granite, which gives to its mechanics great stability, accuracy and therfore reliability, major characteristic of an inspection system.
With a semi-bridge structure GALAYX obtains an excellent performance for both moving and measuring, this is very importante for accurate measuring in a large dimension. A lot of advanced CAD technology include FEA and module analysis while this machine was designed, which is very efficient to lowdown the influence from distortion, vibration and temperature changing. With error compensation technic this machine has many ways for user to keep its accuracy after a period of work.
Both manual or CNC was available and various option for controller, software, probe are available. With software supporting, SKY can do CCD scanning, Laser scanning for reverse engineering or surface measuring.
